Where do you turn when all seems lost?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here is an ever growing collection of my \u201cgo to scriptures<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n

They cover a variety of life\u2019s curve balls \u2013 I hope you find help through these just as I have over the years.<\/p>\n

I am changing from the inside: Rom 12: 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

And do not be conformed to this world,\u00a0but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,\u00a0that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.<\/p>\n

God protects me: Ps 91:11<\/strong><\/p>\n

For he will order\u00a0his angels\u00a0to protect you wherever you go.<\/p>\n

God strengthens me: Phil 4:11-14<\/strong>
\nNot that I speak\u00a0in\u00a0respect\u00a0of\u00a0want:<\/p>\n

For I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.<\/p>\n

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.<\/p>\n

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.<\/em><\/p>\n

God gives me peace: Phil 4:7<\/strong><\/p>\n

and the peace of God, which\u00a0surpasses\u00a0all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n

God supplies for my need: Phil 4:19<\/strong><\/p>\n

And my God\u00a0shall supply\u00a0all your need\u00a0according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus<\/p>\n

I am righteous because of Jesus: Rom 3:20-23<\/strong>
\nFor no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands.\u00a0The law simply shows us how sinful we are. But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago.\u00a0We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.\u00a0And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God\u2019s glorious standard.<\/p>\n

God wants more for me: Eph 3:20<\/strong>
\nNow all glory to God, who is able, through\u00a0his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.<\/p>\n

Fervent prayer has much power: Jam 5:16<\/strong><\/p>\n

Confess\u00a0your\u00a0faults\u00a0one to\u00a0another,\u00a0and\u00a0pray\u00a0one\u00a0for\u00a0another,\u00a0that\u00a0ye may be\u00a0healed. The effectual\u00a0fervent\u00a0prayer\u00a0of a righteous\u00a0man\u00a0availeth\u00a0much.<\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit advocates for me: John 14:16-17<\/strong>
\nAnd I will ask the Father, and he will give you\u00a0another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the\u00a0Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn\u2019t looking for him and doesn\u2019t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.<\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit gave me my own prayer language: Acts 2:4<\/strong><\/p>\n

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as\u00a0the Spirit gave them\u00a0utterance<\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit helps me know what to pray: Rom 8:26<\/strong><\/p>\n

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for\u00a0we\u00a0know not\u00a0what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with\u00a0groanings which cannot be uttered.<\/p>\n

How to handle constructive criticism: Prv 25:11-12<\/strong><\/p>\n

Timely advice is lovely, like golden apples in a silver basket. To one who listens, valid criticism is like a gold earring or other gold jewelry.<\/p>\n

Trials: James 1:2, 4-5<\/strong>
\n[2]<\/strong> My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
\n[4]<\/strong> But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. [5]<\/strong> If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
