And for a long time I was frustrated because I wanted to be consistent but couldn\u2019t find the right \u201cformula\u201d. <strong>I DID NOT GIVE UP<\/strong> though \u2013 I kept trying until I found something that works for me.<\/p>\n<p>I encourage you to keep trying until you find something that works for <strong>YOU<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For me it is the <strong>Bible App<\/strong> for my phone. Don\u2019t get me wrong, I love my physical Bible, LOVE it. To supplement that, and what helps me be consistent, I found daily devotionals on the Bible App. Using this tool helps me be consistent.<\/p>\n<p>This page represents a collection of devotionals that <em>really hit home for me<\/em> \u2013 come back often to see what\u2019s new!<\/p>\n<p>Find a \u201c<em>formula<\/em>\u201d that helps you build consistency and don\u2019t stop looking until you do!<\/p>\n<p><strong>A word about this material<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have to give credit to one of the pastors of my Church (Victory Family Church) \u2013 Pastor Sean Moore.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent sermon, Sean gave a perspective on supplemental Bible reading. Here it is in a nutshell:<\/p>\n<p>Many Christians have a disciplined devotional life \u2013 meaning they are consistent<\/p>\n<p>If you seek God, He meets you and if you are seeking wisdom\u2026He gives it <strong>FREELY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When someone puts in the work to study the Bible and writes down the wisdom God gives them, it is the <strong>HARVEST<\/strong> for their work<\/p>\n<p><strong>In that harvest, are seeds from God\u2019s word<\/strong> and when we put in the work to study that material, those seeds will become OUR harvest!<\/p>\n<p><strong>AMAZING PERSPECTIVE<\/strong> \u2013 thanks Pastor Sean!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Walking and Growing Daily I cannot put into words how one\u2019s life will change if you discipline yourself to study the Bible consistently.
