Frequently Asked Questions
How many media files (images or audio) can I store in my Den?
Your total amount of storage depends on your plan.
Each individual media file (either audio or image) is counted towards your overall storage limit.
Each media file must be 2MB or less. Our system automatically compresses images, but extremely large images may still be too large.
If you try to use an image that will not compress smaller than 2MB, try cropping or using an image compressor before uploading.
A two minute audio is around 1MB, so keep your messages short and sweet.
So, how many media files (images and audio) can you keep in your Den? Example, if your plan is 200MB, and each image file is 100db, you could keep over 2000 images.
How do I secure my Legacy Den?
You can require users to enter a password to see your Den. Just use the Den Password option on the Customize my Den tab.
Sometimes my images are rotated incorectly, what’s up with that?
Our system automatically compresses images, but sometimes (especially when SmartPhone images are taken in full or 9:16 aspect) they are still too large and will automatically be rotated to a landscape perspective.
To fix this, you can try these options:
- Retake the image with a different aspect (try 1:1)
- Retake the image by rotating your phone 90 degrees
- Reduce the size of your image by 20%
- Crop your image
